20 Years, 20 Stories: Commitment to Customers Drives Employees Now and Then

Caeri ChiaroWhen INB opened its branch in Chatham in 2003, Caeri Chiaro recalls that location was one of the first things that drew her to INB.

“Initially, it was just close to home,” she says.

At the time, Caeri was looking for a new career after being home with her kids for five years. But what she found was more than an employer.

“In my experience, INB is a great team environment. Everyone works together to benefit the customer, but they also care about their employees,” she shares. “I’ve always really enjoyed the people that I worked with and could feel like I was making a difference.”

Now serving as INB’s VP, lending compliance officer, Caeri sees that INB’s success over our 20-year tenure is due to the customer-first culture.

“Our commitment to customers drives us,” she says. “Everything we do is about them and we really do try to live up to our promise to make banking easier.”

Many Reasons to Celebrate

Since she came on board in 2003, INB has implemented new programs and hired new staff across new markets, but “always holds the same commitment to quality,” Caeri points out. INB’s 20th anniversary is a celebration of the company’s dedication and loyalty to its customers, employees and community.

And looking ahead, Caeri predicts exciting changes for the bank.

“Technology is changing rapidly and we are constantly looking at ways to incorporate those changes. I believe we will continue to experience more growth and innovation,” she says.
