Are All Your Debit Cards Set Up to Turn Off and On?
You’ve seen the commercials. In the scenario, someone realizes he can’t find his debit card. Concerned it might get in the wrong hands, he pulls out his phone, turns the card off so no one can use it. Later, he finds the card and turns it back on just as easily. No phone calls. No worries about unwanted charges. This feature is available for any INB customer who uses our online banking tool.
If you have a joint checking account or more than one INB debit card, you may not be able to turn all of your cards off and on. To have that ability, you need to tie individual debit cards to your online account.
Here are the steps to follow to tie all of your debit cards to your online banking account.
Step 1: Once you log in on your phone or PC, choose the three-line (hamburger) menu at the bottom left of your screen. This will open the full mobile or online banking menu.
Step 2: Choose "Manage Cards" to see which card(s) are currently connected to your online account.
Step 3: The card tied to your online account should show as "on." If you'd like to add a card - for example, your spouse - click on Submit a Form (blue type).
Step 4: Click on "Or Choose a Form to Submit" in the middle of the screen.
Step 5: From the list of forms, choose the first one: "Add Debit Card to Profile."
Step 6: Provide the last 6 digits of the card and the name on the card, then click "Submit."
