Growing up just outside of St. Joseph’s, Ill., Lindsey knows all about the Champaign-Urbana area. Lindsey got her B.S. in agricultural finance at the U of I in Champaign Urbana, and she started working as an analyst in commercial lending. After four years, she decided to go back to school for a Bachelor of Arts in fashion marketing and management. “Although I enjoyed analyzing numbers and while that fit part of my skill set, there was another side that needed exploring, so I went back to school to combine my analytical degree with a more artistic, marketing and management degree. I love that I have the business background of finance and an art degree of fashion marketing and management.”
After that, she fell in love with retail management and worked at different fashion boutiques. Lindsey uses her experiences to her advantage. “In retail management/fashion, I had to help make people feel comfortable and confident in their clothes, the way they looked and felt. This was important to them. In banking, the same applies. We want to help our customers feel confident in the bank that they choose and the products and services we provide.”
Having a twin sister and an older sister, Lindsey knows the importance of family and of community. When she isn’t being an aunt to her nieces and her nephew, she likes to exercise and travel.
Kathy Greer, the Retail Operations and Compliance Manager, said “Lindsey comes to us with banking experience, as well as, 10 years of proven management, sales and customer service experience. She displays a high level of professionalism and integrity with customers. I believe Lindsey’s leadership skills enable her to maintain the standards of performance required of our managers.”
